Hey there! Are you itching to plan a trip to Cairns and wondering where to stay? Fear not, my friend, because Cairns is a treasure trove of neighborhoods, each with its own distinct personality and charm. From the hustle and bustle of Cairns City to the relaxing vibe of Trinity Beach, there’s a spot for every kind of traveler.

My first stop is the City of Cairns – this is the perfect spot for me with tons of accommodation options to choose from, I’m bound to find something that suits my budget and style. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore, making it the perfect spot for foodies and shopaholics alike. And let’s not forget about the top attractions, like the Cairns Esplanade, the Cairns Regional Gallery, and the Reef Fleet Terminal, all just a stone’s throw away.

I wanted to have a relaxing second day so I took a stroll through the Cairns Botanic Gardens, sipped a cup of coffee at a cute cafe and enjoyed the tranquility of this beautiful area.

For those seeking a beachy getaway, Trinity Beach is a must-visit. This picturesque area is just a short drive from Cairns City and offers a more laid-back vibe. I sunk my toes into the sand, went for a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Coral Sea and explored the nearby rainforest.

And for the adventurous souls out there, Kuranda is calling your name. This quirky village, nestled in the heart of the rainforest, is only accessible by train or cable car. But trust me, it’s worth the journey. With unique accommodation options, artisanal shops, cafes, and galleries to explore, I’m was in for a treat!

That’s the beauty of Cairns, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple on a romantic getaway, or a family with kids, you’ll find the perfect accommodation option to suit your needs.

For families, there are plenty of resorts and apartments in Cairns that offer spacious rooms, fun activities for kids, and even babysitting services, so parents can relax and unwind. And with so many family-friendly attractions in and around Cairns, like the Cairns Zoom and Wildlife Dome and the Cairns Aquarium, the kids are sure to have a blast.

If you’re traveling with your significant other, you might want to consider a romantic escape in Trinity Beach. This stunning spot is perfect for long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and relaxing spa treatments. And with plenty of luxury resorts and villas to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect romantic hideaway.

And as a solo traveler like me, Cairns is a great place to meet new people and have some fun. Hostels and budget-friendly hotels abound in Cairns City, and there are plenty of social events and activities to join in on, like pub crawls, beach volleyball games, and even yoga classes.

No matter where you stay and what you do, you’re sure to fall in love with Cairns. From the warm hospitality of the locals to the breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings, Cairns is a destination that will leave a lasting impression. But don’t take my word for it – go experience it for yourself!
